Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is only 6 weeks away!
The planning, prepping, and holiday shopping (or shipping) has already begun for some, just walk into Home Depot or Lowe's.
This year I recommend not waiting until last minute and make the decision now to employ a house cleaning company. Many companies are booked out weeks from now. We are one of those companies! Unlike previous years where we had some room to squeeze cleanings in, that will not be the case this year. I know I receive those last minute calls too.
It is important to meet with and walk through your home when a cleaning service comes out for an estimate. The opportunity to discuss your priorities is important. Will the company provide ladders to clean your vents? How about your fans? Do they do that? How about windows? Baseboards? That ring in the toilet? How will they get that out? How about the oven being cleaned...so you can cook that big 22lb turkey for Thanksgiving!
Well, we also aren't quite sure what these holidays will look like yet. With so much uncertainty around us, I only hope that the holidays bring as much joy and fun as they have in the past. Being together at the holidays, with family and friends has always united us as one. I only wish this year the holidays do the same for everyone.
